Five kinds of puzzle play right in the page, one puzzle to a screen, sized to whatever you are reading this on. There is no account and nothing to install, and if you close the tab your progress is still there when you come back.
- Word searches drag, or tap the first and last letter Found words highlight on the grid and strike through in the list, so what is left reads at a glance.
- Sudoku tap a square, then type Row, column, box and every matching number shade as you select. Pencil marks, undo and a timer.
- Crosswords tap a square, tap again to turn The answer you are typing shades on the grid and its clue lights up beside it. Check your letters when you want to.
- Bingo tap a square to mark it Rows, columns and both diagonals are watched for you, so the line is called the moment it lands.
- Cryptograms tap a symbol, type your guess One guess fills every place that symbol appears, so you watch the words come out of the cipher.
Sudoku by difficulty
- Play easy sudoku Around 40 given numbers, so every step follows from what is already on the grid. Right for a first sudoku, or a quiet ten minutes.
- Play medium sudoku Fewer givens, and some cells need you to look at a row, a column and a box together before the answer appears.
- Play hard sudoku Around 26 givens. Every puzzle still has exactly one solution and never needs a guess, but finding the next move takes real attention.

Cryptograms by difficulty
- Play easy cryptograms Longer sayings with several letter hints given. More text means more repeated letters, which is what gives a solver a way in.
- Play medium cryptograms Shorter sayings and fewer hints. You will need to spot the one and two letter words before the rest opens up.
- Play hard cryptograms Short sayings with no hints at all. Little text means few patterns, so these take patience.
Playing never uses up your copy
Every puzzle you can play here also prints, with its answer key, from the printable page linked at the bottom of the board. The two are the same puzzle: puzzle 3 on screen is puzzle 3 on the sheet.
Mazes are printable only. A maze is solved with a pencil and a steady hand, and dragging a line through one on a phone is worse than the paper, not better.
