About Periodic Table
The periodic table arranges the elements by atomic number, the count of protons in the nucleus, so that elements in the same column share similar chemical behavior. That is why the noble gases like neon and argon sit together, barely reacting with anything, while the halogens next door react eagerly. This card mixes familiar metals such as iron, copper, gold and tin with the terms chemists use to organize them: symbol, atomic mass, atomic number.
Reach for this card during a chemistry unit review, when students need the element names and symbols to become second nature before they tackle formulas and equations.
