About Baseball
Baseball games have no clock. A team keeps batting until it records three outs, and the ninth inning ends only when someone is ahead, which is why extra innings exist. The diamond puts four bases ninety feet apart, and much of the action on this card happens between them: a stolen base, a bunt, a double play. Other squares come from the stands rather than the field, including the seventh inning stretch and the peanuts and Cracker Jack named in the old ballpark song.
Reach for this at a family gathering around a televised game, or in a classroom during the World Series.
