About Diwali

Diwali, the festival of lights, unfolds over five days and is observed by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists, with the central night falling on the new moon of the lunar month Kartika. Homes fill with rows of clay diya lamps, doorways carry rangoli patterns drawn in colored powder and rice, and families honor Lakshmi and Ganesha before sharing sweets like laddu, jalebi and barfi. The squares here gather those lamps, garlands, gifts and feast-table details into one card.

Reach for this during a Diwali classroom celebration or a family gathering in the days around the festival, when a group needs one shared activity between the puja and the meal.
