About Cars
A car is thousands of parts working in agreement: a hybrid pairs a gasoline engine with an electric motor, and a seatbelt spreads crash forces across the strongest bones in your body. Some names on the grid come from the road itself. Others come from the showroom, like the Mustang, which Ford introduced in 1964 and sold faster than almost any car before it. The dashboard once meant a board that blocked mud thrown by horses.
Reach for this when a class or club has been talking about how vehicles work and needs a quiet stretch to let the vocabulary settle.
