About Movies

A finished film hides most of the work that made it. Behind the screen sit months of script revisions, camera setups, costume fittings and stunt rehearsals, plus a soundtrack recorded long after the acting wrapped. The names scrolling in the credits often outnumber the cast many times over. This crossword pulls its clues from both sides of the projector: what you see in the theater, from the matinee ticket to the aisle seat, and the crafts that put the images there.

Reach for this on a rainy afternoon, in a film studies class, or at a movie night while the group waits for everyone to arrive.
