About St Patricks Day

March 17 marks the feast day of Saint Patrick, the missionary credited with spreading Christianity across Ireland in the fifth century. Legend says he used the three-leaf shamrock to explain the Trinity, which is why that plant, and not the rarer four-leaf clover, became the day's emblem. The harp on this list is Ireland's national symbol, appearing on its coins. Parades, Celtic music played on the fiddle, and the color green fill out the rest of the grid.

Reach for this sheet in the weeks before March 17, when a class or a family gathering needs something tied to the day.
